The Committee of Adjustment has approved the Minor Variance application from Madison Community Services to modify the existing two-and-a-half-storey detached dwelling by adding three additional storeys on Havelock Street. This expansion will increase the number of dwelling units from the current five to a total of fifteen units, ensuring the availability of high-quality affordable housing along with necessary support services.
We would like to express our gratitude to the @Madison Team, our Board of Directors, our architects @ten24architecture, Councilor Bravo and her team, @Raj, our neighbors, and many others who have provided their support throughout this process.
Toronto, like many cities in our country, is currently facing a housing crisis. Those most affected are often low-income households and other vulnerable groups in our society, including our clients. Our mission is to support these individuals and address the existing service gaps. Housing is a significant service gap; without stable housing, our clients cannot make progress in their recovery journeys.
