On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the survivors of and those who did not return home from residential schools. On the same day lands Orange Shirt Day as a reminder that Every Child Matters. Today we commemorate the Indigenous lives lost, the diversity of Indigenous Culture and the ongoing intergenerational impacts of residential schools and Indigenous discrimination.
